Another week has come and gone…

Welcome to September, Labor Day, Friday, and another week passing in the Walker Room. How better to commemorate this week than with some pictures.

If you have not already received and invitation to the grandparents’ lunch, please note that I have attached one. This is a special lunch where we get to honor the kid’s grandparents for, what else, “Grandparents’ Day.” If you have family in town that would like to attend…please let the front office and myself know, so we can make place cards and get a head count. Also if you would like to attend, you are more than welcome…just let us know (and DON’T FORGET THE CAMERA!).

Monday, Monday, Monday…

Yes, it was another Monday… and of course it brought with it all the trials and tribulations most Mondays do bring. APPARENTLY, I was a bit off my game today. I made a MESS of the three children I fed, I threw away two tupperware containers (don't worry- I dug through the trash and washed your dishers, and no...I am not telling you whose I thre away!). I found a ravioli in my hair AFTER I got home, I spilled the mop water NOT once but twice, and yet I found myself in complete laughter MUCH more than I felt discouraged. That is what itty bitties do, that is what YOUR itty bitties do. So Monday is over, almost, let’s get on with the good stuff.

First of all, WELCOME Boston and Maddie!-Today was their first day, and WOZER they hit it out of the park! Unfortunately, Ms. Amy’s camera battery batter died somewhere between the bridal luncheon on Sunday and class today so unfortunately no pictures (it is charging right now…I will have some tomorrow). But great JOB!

So now I am going to brag a bit…

Ms. Sabrina and Ms. Monica- You guys are AWESOME. The room is coming together BECAUSE of you. The kids are doing great BECAUSE of you. And I find myself in constant laughter BEAUSE of y’all. SO thank you- you are AWESOME-the walkers are “the walkers” because of y’all!

The parents- you guys are INCREDIBLE! I have a yellow card on all nine of the children in my class. Thank you so much. You doing your bit, makes my bit SO much easier!!! Also, everyone is prepared, has what the want/need and you have no idea how incredibly easy it makes our jobs…YOU ROCK! Also, I know a lot of your babies were sick last week…thank you for keeping them home and taking care of them. I am happy to announce we had 9 you heard me NINE healthy babies today!

I will post later in the week with more pics, curriculum, and updates. Until then…see you tomorrow!

New class pet....

We now have a new official class pet. It is a beta fish (which the sales lady assured me are very sturdy...and replacable if necessary). And we are looking for a name....so here is where you come in. I know the kids will name it "dada," "mama," or "Nemo." So if you have any ideas please leave a comment. We have had Jonah suggested from Travis (my fiancee as of Tuesday... if you want to know the whole story I would love to share),

Fin (my idea), and Jaws (a family friend's idea). Ideas are welcome! I want it easy enough for the kids to say, but cute too. Pleae leave a comment and the custest name wins- You get him the first weekened (just kidding!).

So PLEASE comment...give us ideas...our poor fish needs a name

Art work....

Thought you might enjoy seeing your precious one's art/hanprints....
